Known for Direct neutrino detection


Frederick Reines (1918-1998) was an American physicist who, with Clyde Cowan, detected the neutrino directly. He received the 1995 Nobel Prize in Physics for this work.

In the Quantum Collection, Reines is linked with the experimental discovery history of the neutrino.
