Ivan Todorov (26 October 1933 - 14 February 2025) was a Bulgarian theoretical and mathematical physicist.[1]
Career and work
Todorov made significant contributions to quantum field theory, conformal theories, and group theory in physics, and was a member of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.[1]
SEENET-MTP described him as one of the leading Bulgarian physicists and emphasized his work on axiomatic foundations of quantum field theory and conformal field theory.[2]
He is linked from the QFT further-reading list as a coauthor of General Principles of Quantum Field Theory, a monograph in the general-principles tradition.[3]
Selected works
- Introduction to Axiomatic Quantum Field Theory.
- General Principles of Quantum Field Theory (1990), with N. N. Bogolyubov, A. A. Logunov, and A. I. Oksak.
